Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to leave a Google review without using a Gmail account:
Step 1: Visit Google Maps
Open your web browser and go to Google Maps.
Step 2: Search for the Business
In the search bar at the top, type the name of the business you want to review and press "Enter."
Select the correct business from the search results.
Step 3: Click on "Write a Review"
Scroll down the business listing on the left side of the screen until you see the "Write a Review" button.
Click on it. A pop-up will appear asking you to sign in.
Step 4: Sign in with a Non-Gmail Account
At the sign-in prompt, click on “Create account.”
Choose “For myself” or “For my business,” depending on your preference.
On the account creation page, click on "Use my current email address instead."
Enter your non-Gmail email address (e.g., Yahoo, Outlook, etc.).
Fill out the rest of the form with your name, password, and other required details.
Step 5: Verify Your Email Address
Google will send a verification code to the email address you provided.
Check your email for the verification code.
Enter the verification code into the Google form and complete the account setup.
Step 6: Leave Your Review
Once your account is set up and verified, you’ll be redirected back to Google Maps.
Navigate back to the business you want to review.
Click "Write a Review" again.
Rate the business by selecting the number of stars (1-5).
Write your review in the text box provided.
Optionally, add photos if you want to share visual details.
Click “Post” to submit your review.
Now your review will be posted, and it’s linked to your non-Gmail Google account!
